December 6, 2005
Integrated Biotechnologies and the California-based City of Hope Cancer Center have entered into a collaboration research and development agreement to carry out a Phase I clinical trial of Phytosel, a plant-produced selenium product.
The study will attempt to determine whether the side-effects of two chemotherapeutic drugs can be lowered with high doses of Phytosel. It is expected to start in early 2006 and will take approximately one year to complete.
