PANACEA BIOTECH, NETHERLANDS VACCINE INSTITUTE TO COLLABORATE ON POLIO VACCINES
Indian drugmaker Panacea Biotech has announced a collaboration with the Netherlands Vaccine Institute-- part of the country's Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport -- for supply of bulk inactivated polio vaccines.
According to the agreement, NVI will supply inactivated polio vaccines (IPV), to be used by Panacea in the manufacture of finished IPV and a number of IPV-based combination vaccines.
Panacea will register the product both in India and several other countries, excluding the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
