Government Registry Expanding Clinical Trial Results Database

Now that the mandatory ClinicalTrials.gov registry is up and running, the next issue facing clinical trial sponsors is expanding the information that must be included in the registry. The device and drug industry agreed, at an NIH public forum, that additional information may be needed for safety reasons, but it proposed limiting the scope of results disclosure.
