FDA to Offer Pediatric Grants

To promote the development of pediatric devices, the FDA is awarding a total of $2 million in grants through its Pediatric Device Consortia Grant Program. The agency plans to fund up to four projects proposed by nonprofit consortia that could lead to market approval of devices designed to treat conditions or diseases in children, the FDA says in a statement. Applications for the grants will be accepted through June 15.
