FDA Clears Hemostasis Testing System

Instrumentation Laboratory has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its ACL AcuStar hemostasis testing system. The test analyzer can fully automate immunoassays for hemostasis labs. It can perform testing without specialized training and in 25 minutes as opposed to other tests that can take up to two hours and require additional training, the company says in a statement.
