Zogenix Pain Pill Works Well in Late-Stage Study

An extended-release version of hydrocodone made by Zogenix met the pain-relief goals of a Phase III clinical trial, setting up the experimental drug for regulatory review in early 2012, the San Diego company said Wednesday.
