FDA Warns of Injuries Associated With Massager

King International’s ShoulderFlex Massager can kill or strangle users, the FDA says, warning consumers and practitioners away from the device. The agency cited one death and one near-strangulation that occurred when jewelry and clothing tangled in the unit. King International has distributed 11,934 units since Oct. 18, 2003.
