Syrian Pharmaceutical Production Slashed By War

Prior to the current Syrian civil war, the country’s pharmaceutical industry produced enough to supply 90 percent of Syrians’ needs. The country’s central bank has stopped providing foreign currency to industry during the war and this has seriously cut production.
