Energizer to Pay $185 Million for Johnson & Johnson Unit

Energizer, seeking a larger portion of the women’s health market, has purchased from Johnson & Johnson the Stayfree pad, the Carefree liner and the o.b. tampon brands in the U.S., in Canada and in the Caribbean. The deal cost Energizer $185 million.
