Australian Government Slashes Prices of 492 Medicines

Medicines Australia is angry at the country’s government for cutting the prices of 292 medicines that it currently subsidizes under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. The government argues that this move will save patients almost $20 million per year.
