HHS OKs FDA’s Supersized Office of Generic Drugs

HHS has approved the overhaul of the FDA’s Office of Generic Drugs (OGD), removing the office out from under the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality. Kathleen Uhl will continue to serve as acting director of the new OGD, CDER Director Janet Woodcock said in a staff memo Dec. 9.
