Ximedica Acquires Bridge Design

Ximedica, a medical technologies development firm, has acquired the San Francisco, Calif.-based Bridge Design.

Headquartered in Providence, R.I., Ximedica now has a West Coast outlet with Bridge, which also expands Ximedica’s offering of design services for physical and digital products including mHealth which uses mobile devices to provide healthcare.

Along with its headquarters, Ximedica has offices in Hong Kong and Minneapolis.

Bridge will continue to operate from its San Francisco office, as it works to expand offerings with its existing customers, while also developing relationships with new clients on the West Coast. — Michael Cipriano
