DePuy Synthes Launches Conform Flex With Q-Pack Technology
October 12, 2015
DePuy Synthes Trauma has launched its Conform Flex with Q-Pack technology in the U.S. marketplace.
The implant is a prehydrated demineralized cancellous bone tissue matrix designed for use in trauma-related extremity procedures, including fusion, and for filling bone voids.
Q-Pack is an ambient temperature packaging method that allows the tissue form to be supplied in a fully hydrated state, eliminating the rehydration step required in procedures using other implants of this kind, DePuy says.
Available in cube and strip configurations, the implant provides a natural scaffold for new bone growth and stimulates new bone formation, the devicemaker says. — Michael Cipriano
