BIO Changes Name to Biotechnology Innovation Organization

BIO, the largest biotechnology trade association in the world, is changing its name to the Biotechnology Innovation Organization — although it will continue to be use the abbreviated name “BIO.”

The purpose of the name change is to better describe what its members do, who they are and how they think, BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood said in a statement.
