Philips Teams Up With Validic to Integrate Data Into Connected Health Services

Royal Philips is joining forces with technology platform company Validic to integrate personal health data from third-party devices and apps into connected health services.

The collaboration with Validic — whose platform reaches roughly 223 million people in 47 countries — will offer Philips opportunities to expand its personal health programs, Lifeline medical alert services and eCareCoordinator and eCareCompanion eHealth applications.

The connected health solutions and services are designed to facilitate coordinated care across the health continuum from healthy living and prevention to diagnosis, treatment and home care, Philips says. — Jonathon Shacat
