Rite Aid to Provide Talking Prescription Devices for Visually Impaired Customers
February 18, 2016
Rite Aid will now offer talking prescription devices to further assist customers who are visually impaired.
“By offering these devices, we’re helping customers who have difficulty or who are unable to read a standard prescription label understand and safely take their medications as prescribed by their physician,” said Rite Aid executive vice president of pharmacy, Jocelyn Konrad.
The talking prescription devices now will be available upon request at any of the 4,600 Rite Aid pharmacies nationwide. In addition, Rite Aid also will offer customers with large print prescription information sheets. — Anisa Jibrell
