ResMed to Pick Up Brightree for $800M

San Diego, Calif.-based ResMed has reached an agreement to acquire private health information technology group — Brightree — for $800 million.

The acquisition will expand ResMed’s existing portfolio of digital solutions with Brightree’s post-acute care-focused clinical software applications.

Brightree will retain its name and continue to operate independently. — Anisa Jibrell
