Accuray, medPhoton to Collaborate on Radiation Treatment

Accuray has entered into a long-term development and supply agreement with medPhoton to mesh Accuray’s CyberKnife system with medPhoton’s ImagingRing system.

Under the agreement, Accuray will gain development, sales and distribution rights to ImagingRing to use in radiation therapy, SBRT and robotic radiosurgery.

CyberKnife is the only robotic radiosurgery available to date, according to the company. — Anisa Jibrell
