Ascensia Diabetes Care Garners CE Mark for Glucose Monitoring Systems

Ascensia Diabetes Care has nabbed a CE Mark for its Contour Next One and Contour Plus One glucose monitoring systems, the company announced Tuesday.

The wireless glucose meters transfer glucose measurements to the Contour diabetes app via Bluetooth, where the information is stored and analyzed for patterns and trends.

Both meters and the app will be launched initially in two European markets and later in the year to more European countries, according to the company. — Anisa Jibrell
