China Says Data Falsification Not Sole Reason for Withdrawals

China’s FDA has received 1,193 voluntary drug application withdrawals — representing 83 percent of all the pending applications required to self-assess clinical trial data.

The CFDA did not disclose the percentage of applications withdrawn for any particular reason, but said the inspections are intended to crack down on all potential data fraud.
