FlowAid Gets FDA Market Clearance for the FA100 SCCD

New York based, FlowAid Medical Technologies has won FDA clearance for its FA100 sequential continuous contraction device.
The device is used to increase local blood circulation, for post-surgical stimulation of calf muscles to prevent venous thrombosis, and for prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy and edema reduction.
The device received CE Mark approval in July and Health Canada approval in August 2016. — Cynthia Jessup
