BioIntelliSense’s Remote Care Body Sensor Grabs FDA Clearance
January 30, 2020
The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for BioIntelliSense’s BioSticker, an on-body sensor that provides 30 days of continuous vital sign monitoring.
The single-use device allows at-home monitoring of patient vital signs by clinicians, allowing for the early detection of complications that may be avoidable.
The sensor can keep track of a patient’s heart rate, respiratory rate, skin temperature, activity and posture, with data transmitted wirelessly or by direct connection.
