Dexcom’s Continuous Glucose Monitoring System Grabs CE Mark

Dexcom’s G6 continuous glucose monitoring system has received CE Mark certification for use during pregnancy.

The device helps to track and manage glucose levels in patients with Type 1, Type 2 or gestational diabetes by providing real-time readings via a smart device. It removes the need for fingersticks and includes remote monitoring capabilities.

Continuous glucose monitoring is important for pregnant diabetic patients, who experience difficulties in glucose level management due to increased need for and resistance to insulin.
