Arch Therapeutics’ Topical Gel Gets CE Mark

Arch Therapeutics has earned a CE mark for its AC5 topical hemostat.

The topical gel uses a proprietary synthetic peptide that forms a seal when applied to tissue. It can be used for complicated and chronic wounds in all stages of healing.

The product is authorized for dressing wounds and controlling bleeding in both out-patient and in-patient settings. It received marketing clearance from the FDA in late March.
