Bipartisan Lawmakers Call for ITC Investigation Into COVID-Related Supply Chain

A bipartisan group of lawmakers has called on the International Trade Commission (ITC) for an investigation into industries producing COVID-19-related goods.

In a letter to the ITC, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Tex.) and Rep. Richard Neal (D-Mass.) asked for information on supply chain challenges and constraints, including barriers that may affect U.S. imports or other goods.

The lawmakers also asked for an overview of key industry sectors producing COVID-related goods, including medicines and medical devices.
