FDA Clears SCC’s Transfusion-Management Software

The FDA has granted 510(k) marketing clearance for the latest iteration of SCC Soft Computer’s SoftBank.web software, a transfusion-service management system.

The software is part of the company’s Blood Services Information Systems Suite, which provides a centralized-testing solution with blood-product tracking capabilities that can be used across multiple sites, delivering management reports and audit-trail features.

SoftBank.web version 25.6 offers an enhanced, browser-based user interface with a new dashboard that provides system options and sub-options in customizable tiles.
