Hinge Health Set to Gain Musculoskeletal Pain Device Through Enso Acquisition

March 12, 2021

Hinge Health has announced that it will acquire Enso, a medical device company that makes a musculoskeletal pain technology, for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition will net Hinge Health Enso’s noninvasive device, which uses electrical nerve stimulation to reduce musculoskeletal pain without the use of drugs or surgery. The wearable, wireless system has shown in clinical trials to deliver three times the pain relief opioids provide on average.

Enso’s device uses high-frequency pulses to provide more immediate and long-lasting pain relief, delivering nonaddictive pain relief within seconds, Hinge said.
