Rapid EEG System Developer Ceribell Selects New Chief Medical Officer

Mountain View, Calif.-based Ceribell, developer of a noninvasive brain monitor, has named Diku Mandavia as its new chief medical officer.

Mandavia, who previously served as chief medical officer for both Fujifilm Sonosite and Fujifilm Medical USA, brings 27 years of clinical experience and 14 years of commercial medical device experience to the company.

Ceribell’s Rapid Response electroencephalogram (EEG) system, which earned FDA 510(k) clearance in 2017, is designed to rapidly diagnose seizures that can take hours or days to diagnose when using conventional EEG systems, the company said.
