Genedrive Gets CE-IVD Mark for its Genedrive COV19-ID Kit

Genedrive’s rapid point-of-care Genedrive COV19-ID kit has received the EU’s CE-IVD certification.

The test delivers positive results in as little as 7.5 minutes and negative results at 17 minutes, the company said.

From a nasal swab, the test can detect different genes from the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19 infection, making it more robust in detecting emerging viral variants, including Omicron.
