Canary Global’s Saliva-based COVID-19 Test Gains CE Mark

Canary Global has received a CE mark for its DigiGENE COVID-19 rapid molecular test kit.

The point-of-care diagnostic test uses self-collected samples and has PCR-like accuracy, the New York City-based company said.

The saliva-based test, which can produce a positive result in five minutes or a negative result in less than 20 minutes, uses cloud-based analytics and sends an immediate test result to the individual’s mobile device.
