Lazurite’s ArthroFree Camera for Minimally Invasive Surgery Gets FDA Clearance

Cleveland, Ohio-based Lazurite has received 510(k) marketing clearance from the FDA for its  ArthroFree wireless camera system for use in minimally invasive surgery.

The ArthroFree system, which is based on the company’s low-heat, high-intensity light technology, includes advanced camera, battery and wireless transmission capabilities.

The modular system is compatible with patient data consoles, surgical displays and endoscopes found in minimally invasive operating rooms, the company said.
