Biobeat’s Remote Patient Monitor and Platform Gains Additional FDA Clearance

Israel-based Biobeat’s wearable remote patient monitor has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA to monitor respiratory rate and body temperature.

The wireless wrist and chest devices had previously received FDA clearance for measuring blood pressure without a cuff, as well as blood oxygen saturation and pulse rate.

The wearable monitors use a non-invasive technology to continuously track multiple vital signs and health parameters. They also connect to a cloud-based patient management system to provide medical staff with real-time data and alerts.
