PocDoc Gets CE Mark for its AI Reader for Lateral Flow Tests

Vital Signs Solutions has received a CE mark for its PocDoc digital reader, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) software to analyze fingerprick blood tests.

The PocDoc platform will allow healthcare organizations to use lateral flow testing at scale for any disease or marker, the company said.

The AI-based software, which is more than 98 percent accurate in identifying disease markers from lateral flow immunoassays, has been used during the pandemic for COVID-19 tests. The digital reader has significant potential for use in places where pathology laboratories are not readily available, the company said.
