Paige Earns CE-IVD for Cancer-Detecting Application

New York, N.Y.-based Paige has received CE-IVD mark certification for its Paige Breast Lymph Node artificial intelligence (AI) software for identifying tumors.

The software, which uses the same AI technology as the company’s Paige Prostate analysis product, helps pathologists “more efficiently identify tumor metastases of any size, including small micrometastases,” the company said.

The Paige Breast Lymph Node software has not yet been approved or cleared by the FDA for use in diagnostic procedures, although it is available for research purposes.
