Eurobio Scientific Earns CE Mark for COVID-19 Test

Eurobio Scientific has earned CE mark certification for its Eurobioplex test to detect the Omicron BA.x and BA.2 and the Delta variants of SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The Eurobioplex SARS-CoV-2 Fast-SVT (specimen validity testing) test is a real-time polymerase chain-reaction assay that can differentiate BA.2 from other sublineages of the Omicron variant.

The assay, which delivers a result in 45 minutes, is intended for routine COVID-19 screening and identification of current variants, the Paris, France-based company said.
