Bendit Technologies Granted FDA Clearance for its Bendit 021 Steerable Microcatheter

Bendit Technologies has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for its Bendit21 steerable microcatheter for neuro, peripheral and coronary vasculature procedures.

The microcatheter features a steerable distal tip that allows endovascular specialists to bi-directionally rotate the tip by turning the torque knob on the steering handle.

The steerable device enables accurate navigation that may support expanded uses, enhance safety and save procedure time, the company said.
