Strados Labs Wins FDA Clearance for Home Use of Its Respiratory Sensor Platform

Philadelphia, Pa.-based Strados Labs has received the FDA’s 510(k) clearance for home use of its RESPR respiratory smart sensor platform.

The RESPR sensor can detect lung sounds associated with events like heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and infectious diseases like COVID-19.

The clearance also allows the device to be used for remote patient monitoring and telehealth, enabling clinicians to track signals of improvement or decline.

Strados Labs specializes in smart sensors, machine learning and proprietary algorithms for early detection of respiratory diseases.
