Paige AI Software for Prostate Cancer Detection Gets CE-IVD and UKCA Marks

Paige has received a CE-IVD mark for its Paige prostate biomarker software for detection of four prostate cancer biomarkers from tissue images.

The artificial intelligence-based software identifies the biomarkers on images stained with a natural dye compound, enabling physicians to assess the need for confirmatory tests, such as immunohistochemistry or fluorescence in situ hybridization.

The Paige software can also help physicians direct patients into certain treatment courses or target enrollment for clinical trials, the company said.
