Viseon Receives CE Mark for MaxView System Device

Irvine, Calif.-based Viseon’s MaxView system has gained a CE mark for conformance with the EU’s Medical Device Regulation.

The system, which includes a miniature single-use camera, gives surgeons a highly magnified and high-definition (HD) view of the surgical field.

Viseon plans to launch the MaxView System later this year, enabling users to record clinical procedures in HD resolution for use in teaching.

The company also plans to expand its single-use HD imaging product range for use in minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery.
