STAR 3D Ankle Replacement Imaging System Approved

The FDA has approved Enovis’ STAR Patient Specific Instrumentation which creates a 3D visualization of the ankle joint for total ankle replacement.

The system’s 3D image shows existing implants and bone defects and provides personalized cutting guides and implant sizing for use with the company’s STAR total ankle replacement system.

The company plans a limited launch this month followed by a full rollout by the end of March 2023.
