Denti.AI Software to Automate Patient Dental Records Cleared

The FDA has cleared Denti.AI’s Auto-Chart software which interprets standard dental x-ray images and automatically updates patient charts.

The artificial intelligence-based software detects and numbers teeth, identifies missing teeth and scans for implants, endodontic treatments, crowns and fillings, adding the data to the patient’s chart for review.

The software exceeded FDA’s acceptance criteria, the company said, reducing the production time for dental charts by 70 percent.
