FDA Clears Two RF Medical Radiofrequency Ablation Products

Two RF Medical ablation systems — Mygen M-3004 and Myoblate — have received FDA marketing clearance for treating damaged tissue and tumors.

Mygen M-3004 generates radiofrequency (RF) energy with compatible electrodes to destroy abnormal tissue, targeting lesions of varied shapes and sizes.

The Myoblate specialized electrode, a part of the company’s RF ablation system, was FDA cleared for treatment of uterine fibroids, as a minimally invasive alternative to hysterectomy.
