FDA Clears Zoom RDL Radial Artery Treatment for Ischemic Stroke

January 6, 2023

The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to Imperative Care’s Zoom RDL radial access system to treat ischemic stroke caused by a blood clot obstructing blood flow to the brain.

The system, which features a 0.088 inch access catheter, is “the first radial access platform developed specifically for ischemic stroke treatment,” the company said.

The Zoom RDL is the latest addition to the company’s Zoom Stroke Solution series, which includes several vessel-matching aspiration catheters for clot removal.
