Robotic-Assist Knee and Hip Replacements Ad Campaign Launched by Stryker

August 10, 2023

Stryker has launched a national direct-to-consumer marketing campaign for its Mako SmartRobotics system for knee and hip replacement.

The campaign, “Scan. Plan. Mako Can.” promotes the company’s Mako Robotic-Arm assisted surgery in which a patient first has a CT scan of the joint. The system uses the scan to make a 3D virtual model to assist in surgical planning. The surgeon guides a robotic arm during the procedure which uses haptic technology — technology that enable electronic devices to provide vibration, touch or force feedback to the user — to reduce the amount of cutting to reduce pain and shorten recovery time.

The campaign will include linear TV, streaming TV, social media and YouTube.
