Public Input on Advisory Committee Processes Sought by FDA

The FDA is soliciting written feedback as well as presenters to speak on its use of and processes for its advisory committee during a virtual listening session scheduled for June 13.

The FDA hears frequently from certain groups about advisory committees, the agency said, but “we are interested in more broadly hearing from all parties interested in the advisory committee process and how advisory committees inform the FDA’s decisions.”

The deadline for listening session speaking requests is May 13. Written or electronic comments will be accepted until Aug. 13.
