MAYNE PHARMA: PORTUGAL DRUG BODY OKS GENERIC ELOXATIN

In May, the U.K. High Court ruled in favor of Mayne Pharma in a patent infringment lawsuit relating to Eloxatin. The ruling cleared the way for a U.K. launch for Mayne's generic copy subject to regulatory approval. A court in Germany has also ruled that Mayne's process to manufacture the active ingredient used in Eloxatin doesn't infringe the patents held by Sanofi.
