FDA OK'S CALYPSO'S TUMOR LOCATION SYSTEM

Calypso Medical Technologies said Tuesday the U.S. Food and Drug Administration OK'd its 4D Localization System for locating prostate tumors. The device, which utilizes electromagnetic technology with Beacon transponders, is intended to provide tumor location information in the prostate during radiation therapy.
