TEVA ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF GENERIC ZOLOFT

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. announced that it has begun the sale of its generic version of Pfizer's Zoloft (Sertraline) Tablets, 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg in the United States. As the first company to file an ANDA containing a paragraph IV certification for this product, Teva has been awarded a 180-day period of marketing exclusivity.
