In their entries, bloggers Robert Goldberg and Peter Pitts both weigh in on the issue of prescribing drugs for off-label uses. Pitts references an article in the Aug. 17 issue of Drug Industry Daily and disagrees with calls from some for more restrictions on the practice, while Goldberg cites his personal experience of benefiting from off-label use of anti-convulsants.
