ENTELOS REVEALS RESEARCH COLLABORATION WITH NOVARTIS IN MULTIPLE DISEASE AREAS

Entelos, Inc. revealed a collaboration with Novartis Pharma AG to conduct research in multiple disease areas. Under the deal terms, Novartis would provide research and development funding, while Entelos would conduct biosimulation research using its PhysioLab platforms that predict the effects of drugs using 'virtual patients'. The company said that Novartis would use this unique approach to support target evaluation, compound optimization, and phase III clinical trial design.
